I recently had the opportunity to speak at Tampa Code Camp 2009. This was a great event with a wide range of topics and approximately 400 attendees.
My topic for the day was "Building a Recurring Revenue Stream with DotNetNuke". In the presentation I cover how I work to establish a wide set of offerings with my clients so Glide become a primary vendor of technology and marketing services for them. The presentation came from a series of discussions I had with some new website developers after the Tampa Day of DotNetNuke. I don't reveal any huge secrets, I just present some solid business practices that will help the new business owners and maybe serve as a refresher for established web shops.
As a caveat, don't get caught up in the numbers or the specific services, each of us has a business that is different than the rest. Do pay attention to the process as that is where the potential lies. If you have any questions feel free to contact me directly.
The presentation is posted here.
